“You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart.” — Jeremiah 29:13

What is RCIA? Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA)

The RCIA is the journey by which adults become Catholic. It is for anyone who feels drawn to the Catholic faith and is ready to explore what it means to follow Jesus Christ in the heart of His Church.

Who is RCIA for?

  • Adults who have never been baptized
  • Baptized Christians from other denominations who want to become Catholic
  • Catholics who were baptized but never confirmed or received First Communion

No matter your background, RCIA is a place to ask honest questions, grow in faith, and prepare to receive the sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist.

What to Expect

The journey typically includes:

  • Regular gatherings with a small group and mentors
  • Learning about Scripture, prayer, Catholic teaching, and the sacraments
  • Participation in parish life, especially at Sunday Mass
  • Celebration of the sacraments at the Easter Vigil (for those ready)
