What is RCIA? Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA)
The RCIA is the journey by which adults become Catholic. It is for anyone who feels drawn to the Catholic faith and is ready to explore what it means to follow Jesus Christ in the heart of His Church.
Who is RCIA for?
- Adultes jamais baptisés
- Chrétiens baptisés dans d’autres Églises qui souhaitent entrer dans l’Église catholique
- Catholiques baptisés qui n’ont jamais été confirmés ou n’ont pas encore reçu l’Eucharistie
No matter your background, RCIA is a place to ask honest questions, grow in faith, and prepare to receive the sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist.
À quoi s’attendre
Le cheminement comprend :
- Des rencontres régulières avec une petite équipe et un accompagnateur
- L’étude des Écritures, la prière, les enseignements de l’Église et les sacrements
- L’intégration dans la vie paroissiale, surtout à la messe dominicale
- La célébration des sacrements à la Veillée Pascale (pour ceux qui sont prêts)
